Partnering with individual donors and organisations, we reached out to migrant workers and transnational families during COVID-19. Many kind hearts have stepped forward to partner with us to offer assistance in kind to vulnerable migrant individuals and families living in Singapore. Many of these vulnerable migrants and families that we reach out to have limited access to local social support. 18 March 2020 Dear Employers, Students and Befriender Trainers, As of 12 March 2020, The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore has extended the suspension of Masses and large church gatherings until further notice. In line with The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore’s decision to suspend masses and large gatherings to minimize the risk of a cluster outbreak of the COVID-19 on Friday, 14 February 2020, ACMI has decided to suspend both weekday and weekend Skills Development classes with effect from Monday, 17 February 2020 till further notice. Praying for those impacted by the Lucky Plaza Incident

On Sunday, 19 January 2020 more than 50 people came together with intentions for the healing of those affected by the Lucky Plaza accident. Following the devastating accident at Lucky Plaza, ACMI organised a Eucharistic celebration to pray for the healing of all those affected by the incident. Youth, parents get to better appreciate the migrant workers

From September to October 2019, more than 60 Catechism youth and their parents from the Church of the Risen Christ came together for the ACMI Bread Basket Programme.    Who Is My Neighbour? The youths, have adopted the bread basket programme as part of their confirmation community outreach. The ACMI Bread Basket programme started in 2010. It was a one day event to distribute grocery packs to migrant workers living in dormitories to thank them for building our nation.
