DORSCON Orange: ACMI Update for Skills Development Classes

DORSCON Orange: ACMI Update for Skills Development Classes

We are now at DORSCON Orange. Hence, ACMI will be implementing further precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at Agape Village. We will continue to conduct travel and health screening tests. In addition, we will conduct contact tracing on all students with effect from 12 February 2020. Students must provide their contact number or home address.

Your domestic helper will be sent home if she is:

  1. Having a fever, cough, cold or runny nose.
  2. Generally unwell.
  3. If herself, her employer or anyone in the household has travelled to anywhere in China in the last 14 days.

If found unwell, she is advised to seek medical attention promptly. Please follow the doctor’s advice. She should only return to class when she is fully recovered.

If your helper is unwell, please submit her medical certificate or excuse letter within 2 weeks to this email address: Arrangements will be made for make-up classes.

We ask for your understanding on this matter. As there are 200 to 300+ students who come to ACMI each Sunday, and hundreds more both young and elderly who come to Agape Village during the week. Let us do our part to help prevent the spread of this virus.

Please also be aware and explain to your helpers of the guidelines for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore in Tackling the COVID-2019 Outbreak: and health advisories from the Ministry of Health (MOH):

MOE in collaboration with MOM have produced three videos in Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesia and Burmese to educate our FDWs on correct ways of washing hands for personal hygiene. More languages can be found on this link:
