We are all strangers in the beginning, and we become friends, and the best of friends are a community like a family.

JESUS SAID: I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND LIFE.
NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.

Spiritual Living through Art:  Rosary-making
Sunday, 11 March 2018

See www.facebook.com/events/628631534144905
2.00 - 5 pm
Join Esther Chia as she teaches some basic jewellery-making techniques while allowing for personal reflection and sharing based on Catholic spirituality.

FREE. All materials are provided: tools, crystals, beads, medals and crucifixes, chain links. Pay nothing, bring nothing but leave enriched with your personal five decade rosary you have created. Gather at 1.50 pm at #03-05 Beauty & Wellness training room.

Through this session you will learn to share your spiritual life with others as a way of building a greater sense of community.

LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS ONLY (DUE TO MATERIALS):
All are welcome to participate, regardless of faith or nationality.
Feel free to share and invite your friends along. First come, first served.

Note: This is not a craft workshop so no special skills or artistic experience is needed! The rosary is traditional Catholic prayer recognised in art, literary works and even popular movies. It is not an amulet or decorative piece of personal jewellery, but a "sacramental", a religious item with the purpose of prayer. Every one from any faith is also welcome to join in as part of their personal sharing experience and there is no obligation or need to have any knowledge of the Christian faith for this workshop. All persons are welcome.

Our Event Calendar

ACMI works with many other groups, benefactors, partners and professionals in our own development and formation, as well as in the mission outreach activities we initiate. We welcome like-minded persons of goodwill to join us as Befrienders (volunteers) and Benefactors.
